Your Department, the Banking and Finance Department will be 20 in 2024. At twenty, a Department is actually still in its infancy, but at that point, the department must start to carve a nitche for itself.
Your Department wishes to arrowhead’ Africa social-economic development and is therefore instituting an international conference:
Africa’s Socio-Economic Development Dialogue to hold in July annually. Papers from the Conference shall be published by the Abuja Journal of Banking and Finance Department in addition to the bi-annual regular publications of the journal. To this end, the Department wishes to source the sum of two million, five hundred thousand Naira (N2,500,000) only, to meet this median outing which needs to be elaborate and ground breaking, Start big and Grow Bigger. This solicitation is therefore specifically targeted at graduates of the Department , who in addition to their personal contributions, may liaise with their employers, business partners, NGOs, etc to make generous contributions to this foundation building’ ASEDD-2023.
Kindly therefore donate generously and canvass and encourage others to do same.

About the Journal
Abuja Journal of Banking and Finance Development is a peer reviewed Journal housed in the Banking and Finance Department, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Abuja, Nigeria, published bi-annually, (June and December) as Abuja Journal of Banking and Finance since 2011.
In order to widen its scope as well as enhance its reach, the name was changed to Abuja Journal of Banking and Finance and Department and published online as well as in hard copy.
The Journal also publishes annually special edition (the Conference edition) being selected papers of the Africa’s Socio-Economic Development Dialogue, (ASEDD) held yearly in July.
