Happy Nurses’ Week!

My dear University Community,

As we celebrate Nurses’ Week, from 5th to 12th May, let us take a moment to appreciate all our staff in the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Services, and all the professional nurses in the employment of the University of Abuja.

I congratulate each and every one of them: Your dedication and unwavering commitment to caring for others cannot be overstated!

You are there when the patient visits the hospital and University clinics and when they are leaving, you remain behind. And now you are rallying round the UofA as we join with other institutions to train and graduate nurses with higher level of academic achievements.

Your endurance, tolerance and countless sacrifices, grace and professionalism, have helped to provide the highest level of care to those in need.

The University is proud of our Nurses because they are a formidable force in our healthcare system, and their contributions to patient’s care and their healing process are so inspiring. This is no doubt a testament to the incredible impact they have on the lives of millions of people.

Our Nurses, Congratulations, once again on this special week as you continue to make a positive difference in the world.
